The AOUA Rhei is an innovative 3-strut kite designed to combine low weight, exceptional agility and outstanding stability. Its exceptionally slim leading edge is built from the highest-quality Japanese Teijin Dacron, creating a lightweight yet robust structure that delivers precise control and direct feedback. Combined with a precisely tuned bridle layout, the kite maintains excellent structural stability. To put this into perspective: the 12 m² Rhei weighs only around 3.25 kg.
The 3-strut design, slim frame and balanced shape work together with a no-pulley bridle system to create a highly agile kite with very direct bar feedback, high stability and exceptional manoeuvrability. The result is a versatile performance kite with impressive characteristics:
Turning speed & jump performance: The Rhei is an exceptionally fast turning kite, allowing riders to react instantly and push their tricks and jumps to the next level.
Kite loops: Extremely fast kite loops that remain smooth, powerful and fully controllable at all times.
Hangtime: Outstanding hangtime for a 3-strut kite, thanks to the deep profile along the centre axis that generates strong lift and float.
Lightwind performance: Particularly the 12 m² and 15 m² sizes perform exceptionally well in light wind, making the Rhei a powerful lightwind kite despite its agile character.
Drift: Wave and foil riders will immediately appreciate the kite’s excellent drift. The Rhei stays exactly where you need it in the window without the lines going slack.

Trust in proven systems
To inflate our kites, we make use of valves and pulleys that have been proven as most durable in great heat and freezing cold weather within the last years.
The Quick-Pump Valve requires no adapter and thus is inflatable with any pump. Deflating is a matter of seconds.
